Alan Brodie Representation is a literary agency whose clients are writers, writer/directors and composers working in theatre, film, television and radio. The company was founded in 1996 and now consists of 3 literary agents: Alan Brodie, Sarah McNair and Lisa Foster and a musical theatre consultant, Caroline Underwood. They are supported by Victoria Williams and Kathryn Ferguson and by our financial director, Alison Lee.

We are proud of our diverse list of unique talent who work across all aspects of the entertainment industry. While we have particular expertise in advising and representing significant literary estates we are equally excited by working with newer writers who will become the voices of the next generation.  Each agent has their own client list but we all share our knowledge and skill to create opportunities for our clients worldwide, using our excellent contacts in the UK and internationally. We work closely with our clients at every stage of their careers and tailor our service to meet the individual needs of each client.
