Peter Callander is a multi award-winning songwriter and record producer with such hits under his belt as AMARILLO and AVENUES AND ALLEYWAYS (Tony Christie), THE BALLAD OF BONNIE AND CLYDE (Georgie Fame), THE NIGHT CHICAGO DIED and BILLY DON'T BE A HERO (Paper Lace), EVEN THE BAD TIMES ARE GOOD (The Tremeloes), A FOOL AM I (Cilla Black), MONSIEUR DUPONT (Sandie Shaw), ALL MY LOVE (Cliff Richard), LEAVE A LITTLE LOVE (Lulu), ONCE THERE WAS A TIME (Tom Jones), GIVE ME TIME (Dusty Springfield) - to mention a few, all of which made it to the top 10 in the UK and abroad.  He has an ongoing relationship with top country singers in Nashville for whom he regularly writes.

He has written the lyrics to a musical of BONNIE AND CLYDE (music by Geoff Stephens, book by David Cosgrove) which will première in Germany shortly.

Peter is a founder member of the Society of Distinguished Songwriters (KING SOD II), a Director of the Performing Rights Society and a Director of MCPS.  Peter has won many awards including Ivor Novello, BMI, ASCAP and BASCA Gold Badge.
