Steve's writing career began in advertising. He was a copywriter in various agencies creating campaigns for Milton Keynes, Rolls-Royce, Pepe Jeans and Harp Lager amongst others, and won various awards for both TV and cinema campaigns. He was also the author of ROLLS-ROYCE: The Complete Works which was published by Faber and Faber and reached the top of The Sunday Times best-seller list.
His screenwriting credits include MAGICK (optioned by World Productions), I USED TO THINK I LOOKED LIKE BRYAN FERRY (optioned by Hartswood Films) and HALFWAY TO PARADISE (optioned by DL Taffner).
He is also the author of a one-act stage play DON'T LOOK DOWN (BAC).
Steve now combines his writing with his work as a counsellor and psychotherapist and is currently working on a screenplay THE WEATHER PRINCESS for Lex Filmed Entertainment and SLEEPING TOGETHER which Phil Traill is attached to direct. |
