Mike Poulton's new two-part adaptation of these classic tales opens on 23rd November at the RSC Swan Theatre in Stratford. Directed by Gregory Doran, the two parts will play in rep until 4th February 2006.

By turns comic, bawdy and sublime, these tales and their tellers are a vivid testimony to Chaucer's insight into human nature.
