DAVID
VARELA
|
David
studied English at Magdalen College, Oxford during which time
he was awarded a two month apprenticeship under visiting professor
Lord Attenborough. In 2001 he also studied Advanced screenwriting
at Birkbeck College, London.
In 2001-2 he was a member of the Advanced Group of the Young
Writers Programme at the Royal Court Theatre.
His short story THEFT OF A GOOD MAN was the winner of the John
Gardner Memorial Prize for Fiction, 2001.
